2005년 6월 일본 JVC 음반(일본 빅터) 관련 건과 브리타니카 관련 건 - 이메일                       

 

 
* 일본 JVC 음반 관련 건 :

지난 6월 10일에 일본을 방문하였다. 언제나처럼  아키야바리에 있는 이시마루 음반점을 방문하여 국악음반을 몇장 구입하였다. 그런데, 한국의 힛트가요라는 음반에 김소희 명창이 나와 있었다. 아마 잘못 알고 김소희 명창을  힛크가요 음반에 얼굴을 실은 것 같아 JVC음반 회사에 이메일을 보냈다. 다음 인쇄 때에는 수정하겠다는 답변을 받았다.

Collecting Korea Traditional Music CD is my hobby. Please loook at your CD under VICP-41377/8 & 41305. 

Old woman in Photo is a famous korean traditional singer, who should not appear in your title.

In next printing, pls change as proper photos.

* 브리타니카 관련 건 :

운영자는 1896년 7월 24일 녹음된 한민족 최초의 음원을 미국 이회도서관으로부터 입수하여 금년 7월 24일을 D데이로 음반 작업을 하고 있다.

이 작업에서 표지 인물로 사용할려고, 당시 녹음한 Alice C Fletcher 여사 사진을 구하게 되었는데, 해설서를 써고 있는 한예종 이진원 교수가 웹사이트에서 플레처 여사의 사진을 발견하여 음반 표지 작업을 하였다. 출반하기전에 미의회도서관에 표지에 대해서 자문을 구했더니, 담당자가 그 사진은 플레처 여사가 아니고, 다른 사람이라고 하였고, 플레처 여사 사진이 실려 있는 웹사이트를 아르켜주었다. 큰일날뻔 하였다. 설마 브리타니카 웹사이트가 잘못되었을 것이라고 상상을 못하였는데.....

상기 사실을 브리타니카로 알려주었다  아래는 관련 웹사이트와  브리타니카에 보낸 메일과 받은 메일이다.
