Kim Byeong-ho Gayageum Sanjo is the music that Kim Byeong-ho (1910~1968) learned from Kim Chang-jo, the founder of Gayageum Sanjo, and sublimated into his own music. This sanjo consists of jinyangjo, jungmori, jungjungmori, eotmori, jajinmori, hwimori, and danmori, it is unique that 'eotmori' is added between jungjungmori and jajinmori.
You can feel impressed deeply in the slow jinyangjo because of the tone based on pansori stlyes and the wide nonghyeon(vibrato like ornamentation) consisting of the pitch with more than 3 degrees, which cannot be found in the other sanjos, This sanjo is different from the other sanjos in playing to the beat in the last part of jajinmori and hwimori, while the other sanjos plays without rules. The ending part of jajinmori of this sanjo requires a high sense of rhythm and high technic it is called of Gwigogseong(СÍØá¢-Sound of like a ghost singing).
In Kim Byeong-Ho Sanjo, you can feel the true worth of sanjo through various rhythms, the deep nonghyeons and the diverse sigimses. In addition, this sanjo has the various melodies of ujo, pyeongjo, gyemyeonjo, gyeongjo, and gangsanjo, so has a variety of feelings.
